This is an excellent entry level pump.  It is referred to as a "regular" efficiency pump, using only 4.5 Amps to pump over 1,500 GPH.  It can be used with a PSA Skimmer to skim a pond of approximately 120 sq. ft.

UP-2800 Skimmer/Waterfall Pump                                         $ 144.99

This pump offer a 30% higher flow rate than the UP-2200 above. Current draw: 8.7 Amps while pumping over 2,200 GPH @ 1'.  It can be used with a PSA Skimmer to skim a pond of approximately 200 sq. ft.

This is a well made stainless steel and reinforced plastic pump. It is rated at 3,080 GPH @ 3' by the manufacturer at a mere 4.0 Amps!  It can be used with a PSA Skimmer to skim a pond of approximately 200 sq. ft. another great addition to the "regular" efficiency pump list!
